2018 - a new direction

The Lakeland landscapes continue to excite me, but I am now responding more by celebrating the richness of colours and textures, than in a more traditional interpretation of these same landscapes.  

I am exploring various watercolour media which bring different atmosphere and emotional response to the work. For these first three paintings I have used acrylic inks while those below are my more usual watercolour or gouache.
